    The Uganda Markets and Allied Employees Union (UMAEU) has also set up the Uganda Markets Union Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO), a member-driven initiative designed to promote financial inclusion and economic empowerment for market vendors and informal workers. Recognizing the challenges of accessing affordable credit and safe savings options, this institution provides a reliable platform for members to save, borrow, and grow their businesses.
