Ultra Markets Initiative
The Uganda Markets and Allied Employees Union (UMAEU) is proud to announce the Ultra Modern Markets Initiative, a groundbreaking project to construct state-of-the-art 10-acre market centers that will serve as bulk fulfillment and export hubs for informal traders. These shall be built on the entry areas of Kampala City Authority. This is designed to revolutionize Uganda’s informal trade ecosystem, these modern facilities will empower vendors—especially women-led enterprises—to scale their businesses, access regional and international markets, and maximize profits through efficiency and innovation.
