• 2. E-Waste Management: -Hands-on training in recycling and safe disposal of electronic waste, turning market vendors into sustainability champions.
• 3. Future-Ready Initiatives- Innovation labs for designing low-cost tech solutions (e.g., solar-powered tools, smart storage) tailored to informal trade needs.
• 4. Women-Focused Programs -Dedicated scholarships and mentorship for women vendors, who make up 71.9% of UMAEU’s membership, to close the gender gap in tech.
